Building Entry
The front door unlocks automatically from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. To enter the building outside those hours, use the PaxtonKey app and the touchpad by the door.
Using the download link sent to your email, download the app on your phone
Register the app using the unique registration code in your email
Make sure you have your phone on you (in your pocket or bag) and simply touch the keypad with your finger to activate and unlock the door
If you're having a hard time, here are some tips:
Check that your Bluetooth is on

Laptop & Company Property
Laptop
TierOne provides each employee with a laptop that is best-suited to meet their needs. This laptop is your personal responsibility, but remains the property of TierOne. Feel free to take your laptop with you as though it were your own. You are responsible for keeping your laptop up to date with the necessary software and updates.
In short, it's yours while you're a part of the team. Love and cherish it.

We're a Microsoft team, even if you use a mac.
Teams is our unified communications platform.
Chats
Chats are your daily bestie. Because chats can include groups of any size, these are great places for one-on-one discussions or even group chats that arenât tied to any particular project or department.
Teams Channels
General: This channel is home to files that require open access:
Customers: (Files > Customers) This folder has files for each of our customers. If you are working on or looking for something tied to a specific customer, this is the place for it. â Marketing Files: (accessed from the top toolbar) Everyone has access to the Marketing file folder without having to access the entire Marketing Team. Youâll find your headshots (General > Photo_Video > Team-Headshots), photos from our events (General > Photo_Video > Internal-Photography), client-facing PDFs like our one-sheet (General > Materials > One-Sheets) and Partner Program (General > Materials > Partner-Program), and more.Â
Notifications
As part of your onboarding, you will most likely be added to your departmentâs Channel as well as some company-wide channels. Ensure that you donât miss out on important updates (and that you arenât bombarded with irrelevant ones) by customizing your Channel notifications.
Microsoft OneDrive is our shared file storage system
You can sync OneDrive folders to your desktop to enable you to work with files directly on your computer's native file system and still stay synced.
You can sync and access files in several ways. To access files from SharePoint on your device, select âSyncâ from the top toolbar in your Teams app or on the SharePoint site. The files will connect via OneDrive and then be accessible on your computer and through your navigation as if they were your own files.

Dress Code
To wear or not to wear
Short Version:
Wear whatever helps you do your best work.
Slightly Longer Version:
We don't have a strict dress code, but vendor reps and clients do occasionally pop in unannounced. Use your best judgment. i.e., if you wouldn't want to explain your outfit choice in a client meeting, maybe save it for a WFH day.

TierOne employs a flexible time-off policy. There is not a cap on your vacation days, however, we do ask that you let your team know ahead of time so they can plan accordingly.
Great examples of this are taking an extra day after thanksgiving (black friday), or any time before or after Christmas.
Pet Policy

We love pets, but we also want to be considerate of our coworkers. There may come a time when we allow more exotic non-human friends to come hang. At this time though, dogs are the only pet friends we can allow.
We don't have any hard and fast rules on the frequency of pet office visits, but trust your judgement on what seems appropriate.

Our healthcare provider is Anthem. They are also our vision provider. To find in-network doctors or check the statuses of your claims, you can go online to anthem.com/login. You can also download the anthem app to have your digital cards accessible on the go.

Our dental provider is Beam. To find in-network dentists or see specific benefits that beam offers to its members (like free electric toothbrushes for the family), head over to the beam website beambenefits.com

We get our monies on the 15th of each month.
Who handles it
Our payroll is managed via Gusto, an all-in-one, cloud-based platform. Login credentials are provided on your first day to complete onboarding. Once onboarded, you can access your paystubs and W-2s anytime online or through Gusto's mobile app.
