Dogwood Canyon Trailblazer Excursion
Sister property to Big Cedar Lodge, Dogwood Canyon is a pristine 10,000-acre outdoor recreation area. Situated among lush woodlands, soaring bluffs, and gushing streams, Dogwood Canyon offers outdoor adventures like trout fishing, horseback riding, hiking, biking, and Segway tours from its restored Mill headquarters.
Guests can choose a horseback riding session or enjoy self-guided biking or hiking
1-hour horseback riding sessions offered at 9 a.m. and noon
For horseback riding excursions, Dogwood Canyon enforces a 48” height minimum and 250-lb. weight limit; closed-toe shoes required; pregnant guests may not participate.
Payne’s Valley Golf Course
The first public course designed by Tiger Woods,Payne’s Valley is a championship-caliber 18-hole course incorporating exposed rock croppings, mountain ridges, valleys, and streams. At the end of yourround, go for a tie-breaker at the 19th hole. The island green sits at the base of a 150-foot rock formation with a gushing waterfall for a memorable end to agame.
- 18-hole course plus 19th hole, played in groups of four

Appropriate golf attire required. Club rentals available. Please allow 6–7 hours of playthrough time.
Half-Day Fishing Charter
Whether you're cruising Table Rock Lake's pristine 43,000 acres in search of largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass or wading into the crisp waters of Dogwood Canyon in pursuit of trout, you'll be sure to reel in a winner. Departing from Bent Hook Marina or Dogwood Canyon Visitors Center, fishing guides lead small groups on half-day tours in your choice of bass or fly fishing
- Table Rock Lake excursions depart from Bent Hook Marina at 9 a.m. and return at noon. Three people per boat led by a private fishing guide. Fishing licenses available at Bent Hook Marina
- Dogwood Canyon 4-hour trout fishing sessions depart from the Visitors Center at 9 a.m. No license needed.
- Fishing is catch-and-release. All gear included.
Cedar Creek Salon & Spa
Cedar Creek Salon & Spa is an 18,000-square-foot oasis just steps away from your room at the Falls Lodge. This luxurious escape includes a full-service salon and boasts 11 private treatment rooms. Take advantage of the stone-lined indoor grotto pool, step into the ice room for an invigorating cold therapy session, or unwind in the saunas, hot spas, steam rooms, or private open-air showers.
